Meso Maya in Dallas

Took my girl and we loved it. Ordered two margaritas swirl and casa, both were outstanding. Great friendly waiter. Took his suggestion and ordered the carne asada. It was tasty, tender, and delicious. My date had the seafood enchiladas. She was happy. She gave me a bite it tasted great as well. For dessert we ordered glam. I recommend this. It was beautifully presented and was delicious. We both had a great with great food. We will be back. Also I liked the decor and ambiance of this place. I recommend it.

Very good place, food excellent, service is great. My only problem was with the darkness, I know places look more cozy with soft lights but this place actually is dark.. You can see the natural light so bright coming from the windows because the inside is very dark, can barely see my food, I almost fell at the bathroom and my sight is almost 20/20, get a little more bulbs in here and it's going to look perfect!

Fantastic ambience and very personal service. The food was crisp and yummy. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Fair prices and big meals. Keep up the great work.

Delicious food, drinks, and a great environment. Meso Maya has never disappointed! Friendly, welcoming service - the manager came by several times just to check on us. With an open table reservation, we were seated instantly on a busy Friday night. I would recommend the Enchiladas Del Mar and the Serrano Berry Margarita.

Great food and drinks! Very authentic Mexican food and great service. Everything I ordered was delicious, from the complimentary chips and salsa to my request for quesadillas (which are not even offered on the menu). Our waitress was amazing and very courteous. She brought us a free appetizer for our entire table! I can't wait to try their happy hour next time I go. Such a great place!

My sister came to visit plus she was here for business as well. She had goggled this restaurant. We were close to. Beautiful restaurant. Our waiters Camille was awesome and questions we had about food or wine she had an answer for. She knows her stuff very impressive. The food was very good. She let us know that it was made authentic. The experience was wonderful. I will definitely be back. I recommend this restaurant.

First time comers and despite some of some lower reviews, I have to say the food is AMAZING! Great customer service. The food has great taste. U have to realize mexico is a huge country so everyone has different dishes its NOT tex-mex! Loved everything we tried. Their tortillas reminded me of the tortillerias back in mexico just by the smell it took me back! We were so full we weren't able to try the dessert! For sure next time. Come give it a try. We are definitely coming back!

Simply our favorite Mexican restaurant, and actually, one of are favorite restaurants overall, in Texas. Outstanding service, excellent food.

I highly recommend this restaurant! This was my second visit and it was so delicious! Customer service has been excellent, exceptional every time! Our waiter Amran was so knowledgeable about the different types of dishes that are on the menu. He made some excellent suggestions and it was just such a pleasant experience and atmosphere. The manager came to our table and was so nice and seemed genuinely interested in making sure our experience was a great one!

Such a nice, intimate restaurant. If you’re looking for somewhere to take an SO, this is the perfect place.

I love the food here, from the brisket tacos to the queso Blanco enchiladas to the sopa de Lima. It’s all good and the staff is even better. It’s a little tight as for space in the restaurant but if you get a chance during this pandemic give it a go.

Authentic Mexican restaurant.. mango Ice tea is not that great.. lemonade was good. Salsa was not spicy.. we ordered habenaro salsa but it was still not spicy.Enchiladas were good.. salad was just ok.. the beans had chicken stock and thus they gave double rice for vegetarians..

Amazing Restaurant. The food had a nice, strong flavor. Even the lemonade was fresh and bold. Superb customer service and it wasn't too busy even at lunch hour. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Food was good, covid19 measurements were great. They are actually cleaning frequently and following social distance protocols. I heard France was doing this new menu download in your phone so finding it here was nice, it makes you feel better that you are not touching an actual menu. Mimosas are always on point for brunch by the way.

Great, delicious food! Meso Maya has become one of my favorite restaurants for its service and food. I love their starter salsa with chips as it tastes authentic. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent food and atmosphere! I would recommend wearing a jacket to enhance the whole experience, you'll feel like you're in one the classiest places in Dallas. The food was excellent as were the cocktails. I'll definitely be back.

We love this restaurant. It's a weekly ritual now. The management know us and they know the waitress, Ruby, we love. She is knowledgeable about the dishes and recommends something new each time. It's been such a fun experience each week trying a new dish and she explains what they are and even the differences between north and south America. Definitely customer service oriented. They don't make you feel like you should be in and out quickly. Watching the chefs in the kitchen is fun too. The dishes look amazing.

Outstanding food, atmosphere and service! I was in town for a short conference and happened to go there based on recommendation of a local. I dined alone, but this would have been a very cozy and nice place to take a date or loved one. I think I saw a band packing up music equipment from earlier before I arrived. I was a late diner & seated outside due to the nice weather. My server, waiter was one of the best I ever had. So much was he respectfully and diligently waited on myself and others nearby, that I was happy to tip generously. My drink he recommended happened to be too strong & spicy and was quickly replaced with a great alternative. [I was trying the one he recommended from the standard menu].I sent a couple photos by text with my dinner, appetizer and drink which was way too much to eat, but I was able to try several things. Next time I travel to Dallas, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The drinks were on point!! Definitely a great place to have date night! My wife and I were very pleased with everything as it was our first time there.

My husband and I were completely blown away by this place. It even looks so fabulous, we thought it would be dress code and/or reservation only but they are not. I consider their pricing to be quite affordable particularly when compared to the quality of their food, it is like high class dining with the pricing of a middle class restaurant! Service and staff were professional and wonderful and the food tastes absolutely delicious, I've never tasted anything like it. I highly recommend the Chochinita Pibil, I almost ate all of the meat without using any of my tortillas because after one bite you just don't want to stop eating it! I'm eating my leftovers as I write this review and it still tastes just as delicious as at the restaurant. We will definitely be coming often!

Pozole verde Is not well made. Tasty but it was eating the green sauce for tacos! The real green pozole is made with broth and a hint of green tomatoes.Good service though.

I just loved this place! It's Mexican food is the best I ever tasted in my entire life. Taco Bell, shame on you!If you ever come here please taste the Pastel de Moras, and say hi to Willy ( the chef) you can thanks me later.

I only been to meso maya twice but im already obsessed i love the food especially the mexican toast

If you're looking for some real deal flavors, you need to come here. Their food is delicious. Don't expect bold and wild (typically Tex-Mex) flavors. Their flavors are subtle, balanced and profound with hints of various chiles, lime, and herbs. It is light but homey and fresh. As someone with family in this region, it reminded me of childhood (and that was worth it alone). Be adventurous, even the foods you may not recognize are delicious.The avocado is creamier than anything-- if you're a fan, try it here! Service was wonderful as well. We were well taken care of, our server was attentive and prompt. Even the host was well knowledgeable and insightful about the menu.Loved, loved, loved it! We even reserved for our anniversary ❤️

Normally have a great meal here, but ordered take out last night, 2 carne asada, and was highly disappointed. 1) one steak was twice as large as the other 2) they were both raw on the inside and we ended up cooking them at home.
